About the Author
Jim Benton is not a middle-school girl, but do not hold that against him. He has managed to make a living out of being funny, anyway. He is the creator of many licensed properties, some for big kids, some for little kids, and some for grown-ups who, frankly, are probably behaving like little kids. You may already know his It's Happy Bunny™ and Dear Dumb Diary, both series written by Jim. On top of writing books, he's created a kids' TV series and designed clothing. Jim Benton lives in Michigan with his spectacular wife and kids. They do not have a dog, and they especially do not have a vengeful beagle.
Customer Reviews
As good as the first!
Happy Bunny is the sort of thing that no matter how stupid his remarks are, you always end up laughing. The sequel to 'Love Bites', this book is equally as funny, this time tackling life. Happy Bunny's life philosophies are hilarious for all, dispite their stupidity at times. Be prepared: Happy Bunny is, well, to put it plainly--mean. If you have a child that you don't want to give 'ideas' this might not be the best book.
What I like about this book, though, is it is more appropriate for children-instead of talking about love and relationships, Happy Bunny just remarks on life in general, with such remarks as 'You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. But you CAN choose the insane asylum where you have them all put away.'
All in all, this is a hilarious book that everybody will love, and (like me) you will end up having these silly quotes pop up in everyday conversations with your friends!
Get a Life...but Read this Book
This was so much fun to read. It's perfect to pick up and read a bit when you get too full of yourself. All of my friends are getting a copy for Christmas.
Laugh Out Loud
If you are looking for a laugh, this book will provide it! Jim Benton's humor may be offensive to some but as Happy Bunny says, "Not listening." This book makes a great gift for pre-teens on up. I love Happy Bunny!
