Product Description

Like a light shining through the darkness comes a guide who can truly illuminate the differences between right and wrong, good and evil, just and unjust, hot and gross...It's Happy Bunny! What would It's Happy Bunny do after receiving a gift? Say, "Thank you?" Try, "Have a nice day, you worthless turd!" In the tradition of Goofus and Gallant (R), one side of each spread shows readers the right way to handle a situation and the other side shows them the It's Happy Bunny way. It's like The Book of Virtues...only not. *Book may include a value-added premium TK*

About the Author
Jim Benton is not a middle-school girl, but do not hold that against him. He has managed to make a living out of being funny, anyway. He is the creator of many licensed properties, some for big kids, some for little kids, and some for grown-ups who, frankly, are probably behaving like little kids. You may already know his It's Happy Bunny™ and Dear Dumb Diary, both series written by Jim. On top of writing books, he's created a kids' TV series and designed clothing. Jim Benton lives in Michigan with his spectacular wife and kids. They do not have a dog, and they especially do not have a vengeful beagle.

Happy Bunny Strikes again!3
Gave this as part of a Christmas present and she seemed to enjoy it more than I did. I love all the little stickers and shirts you get but the book just wasn't as entertaining. Still funny just not as funny to me as the other Happy Bunny items.

If your tween is ready for Mad Magazine, she's probably ready for Happy Bunny5
The "Christian" review above had me laughing out loud.

Happy Bunny isn't marketed to small children, and anyone who buys it for a small child because of the cute bunny on the cover is making a huge mistake. Happy Bunny is sarcastic. Happy Bunny is mean. Happy Bunny is anything but nice. And Happy Bunny is very, very funny.

These books are meant for tween girls, most of whom will find it laugh out-loud hilarious.

My only gripe is that it's way too short. To get more of Jim Benton's humor, I recommend his Dear Dumb Diary books, which are longer but also feature a meanly funny main character. For slightly younger girls, I also recommend his Franny K. Stein books. Jim Benton is a very funny man with a nack for understanding exactly how to tickle a tween girl's funny bone.

If you want nice and cute and cuddly, buy Winnie the Pooh. If you want something for a girl who thinks the name Winnie the "Pooh" is funny, you can't go wrong with Franny K. Stein, Dear Dumb Diary or Happy Bunny. Boys, on the other hand, might prefer Captain Underpants.

Not for kids4
If adults would bother to open a book and look at it before buying it for kids, they wouldn't mistake the Happy Bunny books for children's books. These are hilarious, but not to small kids. Little ones don't understand and/or appreciate satire. Most adults do. Happy Bunny books are for grown-ups.
