Praise for the previous edition:
"No worries when this handy reference is nearby. It covers the basics about everything, from room acoustics to running a session. If you're a beginner, grab it now. If you think you know it all, you might still learn a thing or two." - Keyboard, January 2001 -- Review

Excellent! 5
I just received my copy 2 days ago and I haven't been able to stop reading it. This books is intended for someone who wants to understand the concepts of audio from the beginning. The book is very well written and it uses easy language and uncomplicates the complicated. I recommend this book for anyone in the audio business.

Very Thorough4
This book provides a thorough breakdown of techniques and procedures commonly used in today's recording environments. I haven't fully investigated the contents of the book, but everything I have come across so far has been very good material. Lots of information in here. Used this book for one of my classes in school.
