great resource
I have bought every version of this book, and our school continues to get great critiques for the song choices and the singer. There is a good variety of well know and obscure. They are longer so, generally need to be for mature singers.

Great book.
Great collection of songs for the beginning voice student. The CD is helpful for voice students, and every piece is performance worthy.

seller of Folk songs
The seller had sent the book to the wrong person and my son received sheet music. The seller then asked him to return the sheet music to the right buyer! It cost him $5 in another envelope and postage. Besides he needed the book for a course which is meeting tomorrow. Right now there is no book and I only hope the other person mails it. I will never use this seller again and I hope she doesn't charge me for the book.
