Get Busy
If you've ever worked with a Goodrick book before, and odds are you have if you're checking this one out, you know that he gives you great starting points and the rest is up to you. The three volumes in this series (this is #1) are no exception.
He uses a variety of schemes to create the voice leading, and as you no doubt noticed from the title, its all triads. (In fact, this is kind of like a whole book derived from those two pages in Advancing Guitarist on triads) They are labeled-- straight triads, triads over bass notes-- through all the progressions, and believe you me this book will stretch your ears and fingers.
There is no end to what you can do with this book, it provides you with ample material to play with and create your own sounds and ideas, great voice leading materials (its in the title, after all!)... what else is there to say? Get to work!
