Sound Advice on Mastering
It is a good book for all people who want to be a good Mastering of your song.
Little Short and Generic
This book is somewhat short and generic, but for the price I shouldn't complain to much. If you are looking for something to assist you with mastering your audio, pass this book up and get one of the more expensive one on Amazon. On the other hand, if you have no idea what the mastering process is and you want to know as well as listen to examples of mastered and unmastered audio, buy this book.
Lacks detailed content and specifics
I decided to purchase this book to gain some more insight into mastering techniques and theory. Have to say, I am really disappointed as I have spent my money for no real value.
A few pages on EQ and Compression is not enough for a Mastering instructional book.
The theory provided in this book could easliy have been found using Google.
For such a small book, there was far too much information about cables that could almost be confused as info-mercials with the convenient product recommendations.
Positively, there is a good summary on industry standards used for CD mastering.
