CATCHY BUT NOTHING SPECIAL
I purchased this CD after reading reviews that were submitted on Amazon. The music isn't bad, but after listening to the CD about a dozen times, I'm already tired of it. Once in a while, an artist like DJ Taucher or Armin Van Buuren comes along and you can't get enough of their music. Ashley Jade is extremely HOT but her music is just average. I highly recommend anything that Water Music Records puts out. You just have to be careful because there's some garbage out there. My other recommendation is to purchase Trance from Neurodisc Records. You won't be disappointed.
GET THIS CD !!!
Ashley Jade is a REVELATION!!! What a voice and what amazing production value on this cd!!! It's like a non stop dance party from the first song to the last and Ashley wrote the whole cd and she's only 17!!! Beautiful and talented, I can't wait for her follow-up. You will NOT be disappointed if you love catchy high octane dance/trance!!
Why is this girl not all over the place?
Ashley Jade has a voice that takes you in and cleans your soul out. She conveys a passion and energy not common in the broad genres of pop OR dance, complete with this lovely and natural sounding vocal release technique where she blows through her phrase-endings...as if to suggest the energy she is bringing just can't quite end when the phrase does, when the words do. It may sound strange, perhaps too specific; but it works wonders. That nonstop energy is conveyed right to the listener. Listen to "On the Run" and see if you hear what I mean. Her remake of "Let Me Be Your Fantasy" is the same way: amped up energy, and this is of course not to mention her all to obvious beauty. The video for 'Fantasy' is just too hot. Considering the wave of female singers out there that are less dynamic, less energetic, and not as drop dead gorgeous, it leaves me wondering why she's not plastered all over MTV, the radio, magazines, everything else...
