Customer Reviews
Excellent packaging - so so content
For some reason I thought this was going to be acoustic music recorded outdoors. I don't know if that would have made it better or worse.
What it is.
Nature sounds recorded with a binaural microphone for that in the head imagery. The nature sounds are birds, elk, crickets, water etc. etc. Nature doesn't take a back seat to the violin, piano, guitar and keyboards. The nature sounds are just as loud as the instruments. Everything seems louder because this is a JVC XRCD recording from First Impression Music. This isn't really meditation music or a sounds of nature CD. The nature sounds are probably meant to be part of the music.
The CD comes in a little booklet. With very nice artwork of a dragonfly on the cover and beautiful nature shots on the inside pages. I worry about scratching up the CD sliding it in and out of a sleeve. However, this comes with a very nice protective sleeve.
Maybe some day I will learn to like this CD (more)... Right now I am thinking, "I paid how much?"

5 of the most beautiful femal vocals
This CD has 5 of the most beautiful female vocals you can find in the world.
I owned lots of CD and this one has the best record quality I have ever heard.
It is like Jacintha singing "Danny Boy" in front of you and you can hear every detail clearly.
Also you will know what real bass sounds likes when listening to "Georgia on My Mind" by Mari Nakamoto.
It will shake your room and blow you away though it is recorded 30 years ago.
And I thought I am in a Jazz restaurant when playing "Beat Goes On" by Patricia Barber. Amazing !
Anyway, give it a try. You won't regret.
