deep, spiritual, inspiring, comforting, a master at perhaps his finest hour.

Beware, not much in the way of what you'd call vocals here. But if you want some mellow, trippy atmospherics for the next time you fire up the peace pipe or pass the blunt, you could do far worse than these masters of IDM.

One of the few "big sellers" which I found to be quite poignant and serene. Can't say that I'm a total fan of Coldplay, but I do not dismiss them as some might do.

Where the Lips took a turn for the better. I am certainly glad to've rediscovered them. Who knew they'd turn out to be such mystical poet-philosophers?

It don't get much better'n this for brilliantly crafted pop-gems. At once, introspective and soaring. A call to the soul of modern man lost in a technological wasteland. A+

Touching ballads from a calm, earnest voice, which keeps a firm grip on your more medatative mind. Perhaps my favorite "newer" artist. Good isht. Get also the EP's "In the Reins" done with Calexico and "Woman King". They have a new one out as well which I will be reviewing once it arrives.

Tender folky fun, upbeat, the women's like it :) His later albums are not to shabby either.

Top-shelf indie-esque pop rock, very subtle and appealing. Blended harmonies, intricate beats and celestial synthesizers abound.

Impressive debut from this English outfit. Completely mesmerizing, both in its' sonic textures and in the tranquility and sensuality of Afro-Saxon beauty, Skye Edwards' voice.

Trully one of the most emotionally over-whelming albums I have heard. Love it. Hard time pickin' out favorite tracks, pure goodness from start to finish. Nada's Masterwork. Their newer effort "The Weight is a Gift" has numerous highlights, though not, in my opinion, quite as consistent an album, though definitely worth checking out.

Really no need to introduce this album. Most are familiar with its' grandeur. Also recommend "Feels Like Home" though I haven't heard her new one yet.

Electro collaboration involving Ben Gibbard and company from "Death Cab for Cutie". Something this good deserves a follow-up, wouldn't you think?

The crowning achievement of a visionary band, OK Computer was my nighttime lullaby in many a seedy joint during my reckless, vagabond youth. Along with "The Bends", Radiohead's best, in my opinion.

Ear candy for those that like their electro to taste like minty chocalate.

Top shelf electro-pop. Gina Rene's voice sho' is purty. I would have to give four 'n a half outta five!

Wacky Welsh pop-filth, which serves up many audio delights. Tender psychedelia. Prolly my fav. SFA effort.

Wow, good good. An intoxicating piece. Electro in format, spiritual in affect.
