ok, so everyone always puts down spiderland as their fav, but i think this one is as good if not better. truly inspiring! ad it must have been passed down to us from aliens cause this is still far ahead of its time.

before nick cave got all singer songwriter on us, he was a wild man. this album is prob my fav of theirs, but they're all good. listen to this and then go listen to the jesus lizard. eerily similar...

i think these guys are aliens. how else could you explain this bizarre creation? while a lot of people go ape poopy over action park, i think that the opening track to this album is one of the greatest songs ever. guaranteed to clear a room at the end of a party...unless i'm there. also, go buy anything by rapeman and big black, albini's other bands pre-shellac.

an amazing band that should have been way more popular than they were. amusing lyrics delivered in a myriad of styles thanks to patton (prob the best overall vocalist in the history of man) as well as the funky noise that was fnm. plus, a sweet cover of the theme to midnight cowboy. how can you go wrong?

absolutely amazing double album. in my opinion, it's like mogwai, but lightyears better. there is so much going on here and, much like shellac, i think these guys came to earth on a ufo. just listen!

more aliens! dalek take everything i like about hip hop and make it better. this is not for you if you like radio hip hop. riyl common, talib kwali, public enemy, kool keith, and others that don't suck.

just go listen to it. it's tough to explain what they sound like other than saying a guitarist with a looping pedal and a drummer. so good.

perfection was attained on this album right before they parted ways. if you remember that song "stars" that they did in the mid 90's, this is way better. a total wall of sound.

i remember the first time i heard this album and how utterly confused and amazed i was at the same time. combines nearly every genre known to man in one neat little package. outstanding.

dedicate 80 minutes of your life to listening to this masterpiece of prog rock and you will never be the same. this is my fav of their albums. brilliant.

they get better with every album. i though absolution was as good as they'd get and this album floored me. futuristic elctropop/rock for aliens.

jazz usually bores the crap out of me, but this jazzy, electronic-ey, quirky band blows me away. great observations of american pop culture accompanied by unique vocals and fun music. a winner in my book.

i'm not a huge fan of this genre, but the prodigy never disappoint. great club/party music that i'll actually attempt to dance to...if i've had a 40 that is...
