Even though I love Kerry Ellis' vocal performance as Elphaba, this album is so wonderfully produced. The arrangements by William David Brohn, Stephen Oremus (my idol) and composer Stephen Schwartz are beautifully preserved. Kristen Chenoweth is a riot as Galinda and the ensemble sing stongly. A real treat!

This show is awesome. Seen it in Australia, London & New York and played Mark in a production here in Australia and I just love it. La Vie Boheme and Tango Maureen are my standouts!! Love Idina Menzel here ...

You know, I didn't really respond to this at first, but after a couple of listenings I really started to enjoy the soulful music of Spring Awakening. My favourite tracks are "Mama Who Bore Me" and "My Junk"

The show is about the life of an artist and the work he creates ... but it is the show itself which is the great piece of art. The music is so beautifully crafted it grows and grows throughout the show into beautiful explosion of melody and emotion in Move On and Sunday at the end ... the orchestrations by Michael Starobin are just exquisite.

This show doesn't pretend to be serious or thoughtful. It's just pure fun. The music is exciting and so well sung, especially from all the high broadway belter girls in the show.

So passionate. Standout tracks for me "The Old Red Hills Of Home" and "All The Wasted Time" ... Carolee Carmello is so under used on Broadway.

I know lots of people who don't like this show. But I saw it on Broadway and it was one of the best nights out I had there. The show was so wonderfully presented. Technically very masterful and musically sound.

Go solid rock music meets Broadway. Heather Headley in her Tony Award winning role as Aida. Sherie Rene Scott makes for good fun as Amneris!
