Buy new: $14.95 Strobe on String tuner, you select the note and point it at fret 12 on the string and tune it until the lights stop moving around. Bend behind the nut (see Guitar Tricks) to check how much you need to tune up. You can use this as just a tuner in its own right; I use it with the Korg sometimes to fine-tune.

Buy new: $132.99 This is a pricey and fancy mechanical wind-up metronome; you need something like this to keep time. Nice solid mahogany case, swinging pendulum, with a bell. Extremely accurate. Other types you can get include digital ones (beep, beep, beep...) or cheaper plastic ones for around $30-ish that may delay a little on one side of the swing.
