All his 50+ books are in worldwide distribution and many are used in college classes in more than 20 countries. He is president of David E. Carter, Inc., an identity consulting firm based in Ashland, Kentucky, with affiliate offices in Bangkok, Thailand; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Caracas, Venezuela. Carter has created corporate logos and identity systems for more than 400 companies, and has presented corporate identity seminars on four continents. He is also an accomplished writer for television. He produced more than a dozen comedy sketches for the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, and has won seven Emmys for public TV programs he wrote and produced.

David Carter's, The Big Book of Logos, is just a huge collection of excellent logos from all sorts of different businesses and organizations. It's a good place to look to find out what other artists are doing, and a good source of inspiration when your own ideas seem to have dried up. Good book!

Great inspiration!5
I have yet to own this awesome book but from looking at it in my graphics portfolio class today, I have all sorts of logo ideas stirring in my brain now. There are so many amazing logos and trademarks in this big book that it is sure to spark a creative mind and get the juices flowing.
