Customer Reviews
I wish there was a TEN STAR option!
This book is an absolute must have if you're aged 8 - 80! Kevin has an amazing way of bringing life's biggest challenges into the simplest concepts through words, activities, and pictures. His message is inspiring and is one that should be shared with many. I have purchased over 100 of Kevin's books to share with friends, co-workers, family, and complete strangers because I believe in his message and his passion.
The Red Rubber Ball, Now for Tweens and Teens
Using the metaphor of a schoolyard red rubber ball, Kevin Carroll has inspired thousands of people to find and chase their dreams. His first book, /Rules of the Red Rubber Ball/ was aimed at the adults he's worked with either as an athletic trainer or as a motivational speaker. /What's Your Red Rubber Ball?/ is aimed middle- and high school-aged kids, to help them find the dream they want to chase for the rest of their lives. A combination of workbook, journal, and project guide, it is designed to keep that age group interested and involved. There are things to cut out, to make, to read, and to write. And, plenty of encouragement to do them. Children in that tween and teen age sometime have a hard time finding things to motivate themselves in school. /What's Your Red Rubber Ball?/ may provide the encouragement they need, to see beyond their here-and-now problems and find something they can dream for.
