Dark Angel Season 2
Although the second season saw the freak-of-the-week format come into play, this season has a lot to offer.
Snappy dialogue, further back story for Manticore and it alum and a new foe in the weird snake cult. Max (Jessica Alba of Fantastic Four) is still the good looking and genetically altered super solider with attitude, Logan (Michael Weatherby of NCIS) continues as the wheelchair bound bleeding heart of a love interest. This season also introduces Alec (Jensen Ackles of Supernatural) as a fellow Manticore super solider and rival/sibling for Max as well as Joshua (Kevin Durand of Lost) a dog transgenic who Max must do her best to protect and guide though the harsh reality of the world beyond Manticore.
All in all a nice little exploration into a not to shiny future and those who live in it. Max is all sass, Joshua is all heart and Alec is trouble, scams and hidden depths. Logan as the love interest was the down side for me but his genuine affect for Max stop me from hating him out right.
Most excellent
Excellent characterization, good casting and Jessica Alba. What more do you want. One of the best TV shows I've ever seen.
Great Sci-Fi series
For any sci-fi fans, this show is great. It's entertaining, well-written, and fun to watch. Too bad there are only 2 seasons, I thought they set it up for what would have been a great 3rd season. Plus, the addition of Jensen Ackles to the show was great!
