Comfort and Awesomeness
I was thrilled with these sandals. A big surprise was when they arrived and I saw the "gold" in them actually glittered....not tacky though at all!! Very classy sandals and couldn't be more comfortable.

Poorly constructed & uncomfortable
I got the black patent version and the top strap isn't finished along the edges. It's just hard, cut square, material that cuts into my toes. The seams and the tag sewn into the sole rub the bottom of my foot too. And, up close, they look kind of cheap--plastic-y rather than like real leather. The striped or suede versions might be better, but stay away from the patent ones.

Fell apart 4 months later
After 4 months of wearing these 2-3 days a week, the top of the sandal (the large leather strap) fell off entirely. Ironically, I bought these to eventually replace a pair of cheap, olllld sandals I figured would die any day now- the old cheap ones are still going, scuffs and all. I'm only giving 2 stars because they are admittedly cute while they last, and quite comfortable- just don't expect to keep these for long.
