Product Description

Sport Aerobatics is a flight training system developed to increase practice effectiveness and instill the skills needed to effect a more satisfying and fun R/C piloting experience for years to come. Utilizing the DAS System, Sport Aerobatics teaches the advancing pilot to view aerobatic maneuvers as a series of predictable steps, with an emphasis on controlling what the airplane does instead of reacting to it. Learn everything you need to know to perform exciting maneuvers such as loops, rolls, Immelmanns, Cuban 8 s, reverse Cuban 8 s, 4 and 8-Point hesitation rolls, and more. Presented in an easy to follow crawl-walk-run format, and featuring many full page illustrations with matching control stick positions, Sport Aerobatics is fun to read and even more fun to apply.

Editorial Reviews

Review
Contrary to what everyone else says when they comment on a product, when I find something I like, I like to tell people about it. In this case, I purchased your Sport Aerobatic and Precision Aerobatic manuals, and I wanted to let you know they're fantastic! I've read both books through at least twice now. I've flown three times since I received the books and have improved every time. Excellent advice, clear - concise information, great illustrations, all presented in an easy to reference, easy to understand manual. A home run! Thanks for your work preparing these excellent learning tools. I'll spread the word to fellow flyers in my corner of the world. Steve Chaffee. Trabuco Flyers, CA --Steve Chaffee

I'm so impressed by how clearly you organize the lessons and how easy you make it to learn. How the maneuvers were flown seemed to be a closely guarded secret in the sport. Now I feel I have the foundation to do just about anything with practice. Keep up the good work. Bob Yeager. Casper, WY --Bob Yeager

Your books are excellent. The illustrations are great and the way you have broken down the lessons logically makes the information easy to apply in the air. Anyone who wants to learn to fly the right way needs to read your books. Mark Trent. XFC Extreme 3D Aerobatic Champion --Mark Trent

About the Author
Dave Scott grew up in Oshkosh Wisconsin - home of the Experimental Aircraft Association and world s largest sport aviation convention and airshow. He began flying R/C at the age of 9 and has accumulated over 10,000 hours of R/C flying experience. He has worked in the development of several full-scale aircraft and has designed nearly 50 radio control planes. He is also a licensed pilot and active full-scale aerobatic competitor. Dave founded 1st U.S. R/C Flight School and has professionally trained more than 1200 pilots. His accelerated R/C flight training programs have resulted in 98% of all his Primary students trained achieving Solo in less than a week, and 100% of all his Aerobatic students achieving in only days what traditionally takes years. Dave is deeply influenced by his experiences with full-scale aircraft and believes that model airplanes should be flown and instructed with the same professionalism and realism. When he isn't instructing, competing, or writing his latest book, Dave thrills crowds with exciting R/C aerobatic demonstrations at full-scale airshows and large R/C events.
