Jim Butcher is the published author of the Dresden Files, telling the story of wizard Harry Dresden, who solves crimes in modern-day Chicago. The series is published by Roc. He has another series in the works from Ace publishing, titled the Codex Alera. Jim only makes it to a few conventions a year, but if you're interested in meeting him in person, make sure to look over at the calendar for any events we know about.
