Final Fantasy is completely remade, and Final Fantasy II makes its first appearance. Firion, Maria, Gus, and Leon, four friends, seek to destroy the empire that took everything from them. For the Playstation.

Final Fantasy IV for the Playstation has a more darker script, and harder difficulty level. Certain scenes that were cut from the SNES version are restored. Also includes the amazing Chrono Trigger.

Final Fantasy IV goes 3D! New to this version is the augment system, in which you can customize characters abilities, and two new bosses. The dungeons and the option of choosing your final party from the GBA version are not present. The script has been rewritten yet again, going for the darker tone. For the DS. Also look for the sequel, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years as a download for the Wii.

Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI. This is FF V's first release in the U.S. FFV- A wanderer, Bartz and his chocobo Boko, stumble upon a strange meteor, and decide to help a princess. FF VI- Magic has all but disappeared from the world, and a technological empire rules it. A mysterious girl, Terra, gets caught up with the struggle to stop the empire. For the Playstation.

This game is actually Final Fantasy VI. This game has the largest cast of playable characters in a Final Fantasy game, and is my personal favorite. For the Super Nintendo.

Set two years after FF VII. Many have become infected with a mysterious disease, and people who look surprisingly similar to Sephiroth have appeared. Old foes become new friends, and Cloud remains wracked with guilt over his losses. The special edition contains the short anime, "Last Order". DVD.

A fighting game which has several FF VII characters to play as, as well as an RPG-like dungeon. Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Vincent, Sephiroth, Zack and a character called Django who looks like Red XIII. For the Playstation.

A fun kart racing game featuring tons of familiar Final Fantasy characters. Race as: chocobo, moogle, golem, goblin, black mage, white mage (Shiroma), Chubby Chocobo, behemoth, Bahamut, Squall, Cloud, Cid, moomba, and cactaur, as well as a couple non FF characters. For the Playstation.

Tidus, a star athlete, is transported to the past where he soon finds himself following in his estranged father's footsteps, to protect a summoner against a recurring evil. For the Playstation 2.

Online only. Includes all expansion packs to date. Chains of Promathia adds several new areas and missions; Treasures of Aht Urhgan also offers new areas, a whole new continent is revealed, as well as three new character classes: Blue mage, Coursair and Puppetmaster. Wings of the Goddess adds two new classes: Dancer and Scholar. Available on Playstation 2, PC, and for the XBox 360.

Marche and his friends enter a book which contains the land of Ivalice. Everyone finds themselves in different circumstances than they had at home, and nobody but Marche wants to return. For the GameBoy Advance.

Vaan, a young orphan who longs to become a sky pirate, finds himself caught in the midst of war and political scheming. Set in Ivalice. Montblanc from FFTA makes an appearance. For the Playstation 2.
