However the story goes so much beyond that. The characters hold your attention and you really WANT to know what happens next. It is a war series at its finest.

It is really and I mean really confusing and you must watch BOTH death & Rebirth and End of Evagelion to make any sense out of these movies. The film length commentary is almost mandatory.
