Product Description

Sean Wilbrun, the son of a common groomsman, transcends the barriers of his class and station, when he is elevated to the esteemed ranks of high guard for Lord Edward, Duke of Stonehaven. His first assignment, however, is not to wield a sword to protect his duke, as he had hoped, but instead to attend to the duke?s newly arrived foster son, William. William Fylbrigge was born into nobility, the son of the Earl of Aberdoir. Orphaned at birth, he is left in the care of his indifferent, abusive brother, Thomas and his wife, Bryndah, Lord Edward?s elder daughter. William has never experienced the gentility that should have been his birth right. He arrives at Drumoak believing in Bryndah?s tales of how Lord Edward is a torturous demon who eats children, and drinks their blood. Sean and William, soon form an unlikely duo and a lasting bond that brings them together through accusations of murder, kidnapping and treason. One is destined to lead his people in an unpopular cause. The other is destined to protect his friend against a mutual enemy. One will find his love. One will lose it. Both will come to know that nobility can not be bought with coin, that bravery is not bestowed upon the rich. They?ll both come to find that the claim to the future is only By Right of Blood.

By Right of Will: Review5
Lorrieann Russell tells the beginning story of her character William Fylbrigge in BY RIGHT OF WILL. A real page turner, this novel captures you from beginning to end. You seem to become part of the adventure as you join the characters on their journey. Russell's descriptions of places and characters make it easy to picture these things as you read. I absolutely loved this novel and look forward to anymore work by this wonderful and talented author. If you have not read BY RIGHT OF WILL by LORRIEANN RUSSELL, I strongly suggest you pick up a copy. This book is full of drama, action, romance. All the things that are needed to make a wonderful work of Fiction for readers to enjoy. An excellent novel. I won't hestitate to read anything with LORRIEANN RUSSELL on the cover.

I loved it and I don't even like to read...Not Joking. 5
It was a great journey to take. I have to admit seeing the cover I did what everyone says not to do and "Judged a book by its cover." Boy did I ever. I thought this was going to be some mythical tale that has been told over and over. But from the first chapter I was hooked. The language just drew me in. It made it a challenge to keep up with the dialect and that pushed me to dig deeper into the book. I fell into the abuse with William as he faced Thomas and his wife. Sean reminds you of that noble man you hope to come across in your lifetime. The ones you read about in storybooks that never make you give up hope. From the triumps to the trials these two men earned their "right of blood."

William Fylbrigge Rides Again!5
I was one of the privileged few that got to read this as the author was writing it, then as editor and in pre-release. I have to tell you, this is her best book by far.

The characters are more fleshed out in this book. The story is amazing, it never stops. Ms. Russells first two books--now the follow ups to this title--were action packed thrill rides before, but this one really takes you for a long ride and doesn't let go until you read the last word on the last page and take a deep breath. I warn you, prepare to not be able to put this one down.

Ms. Russell has grown as a writer, maturing at a delightful rate. Her style is crisp and descriptive. Her plotting is instricate and brilliant. She has created living breathing characters within the covers.

_By Right of Will_ is a worthy successor/prequel to her two books; _My Brothers Keeper_ and _In the Wake of Ashes_. If you've read those two books, you'll want to read the beginning of the legend of William Fylbrigge. If you haven't, start here and go read them next. You'll be kept spellbound and on the edge of your seats!
