Buy new: $349.99 This swing is amazingly soothing to a fussy newborn and a lifesaver for parents. The cost quoted here seems over $100 too high! Check around. It works like a charm. I'm not sure I could have made it through those first six months without it. I had a bouncy seat but did not use it much at all..this trumped eveything. It is just not portable.

Buy new: $389.00 This is a pricey stroller, but worth every penny...see if you can get it used for less. The BOB revolution turns on a dime (think small grocery asiles) and glides over all types of terrain. Great for walks and the front wheel locks for jogs. The infant seat adaptor makes it useful right away.

This is a great infant car seat with excellent (the best I think) safety ratings. I purchased the travel system, but hated the stroller and gave it away...it just did not stroll very well (like a bad shopping cart) and there was no room under the carriage to carry anything. The carseat itself can be inserted in other better strollers (BOB Revolution or Kolcraft Universal)

I leave it in the car for outings and find it to be a way better product than the stroller that came with the 'travel system.'

Buy new: $105.00 This is a great front/back carrier that works with infants as well as big toddlers. It is the most comfortable one for parent and baby that I tried (out of seven) especailly as baby gets heavier and the sling becomes a little uncomfortable. Padded shoulders and nice lower back support make it great for traveling or shopping.

I used this brand and the 'Over the Shoulder Baby Holder' brand sling. A sling is a little challenging to get the hang of, but don't give up. Once baby and I got comfy with it, we went everywhere with the sling. It is remarkably soothing to the newborn to be all contained, and my baby slept in it through many dinners out and on the airplane. Another life saver.

Buy new: $9.99 I used a similar folding mesh seat for baths in the early months. I like that it folded up for easy storage under the bathroom sink. After baby can sit up a suction bathmat(onestepahead.com) is all you need. Plastic infant tubs just take up space and cant be used for long.

Buy new: $255.00 For breastfeeding mom's who want a pump I think that a medela pump is great. I purchased a hospital grade pump off of ebay(medela lactina select). It is stronger and quicker than this pump in style, but far less cute in its packaging. It depends on what you need. I was going for quiet and speedy pumping, so the hospital grade worked well.

I like this for breast feeding much better than the boppy. It has nice suppot for mom and baby. A pillow works pretty well too.
