A good belly band
I got this band in hopes of shrinking my tummy after my third child. The sizing seems a bit difficult to me. I was a size 12 pants prior to pregnancy, gained 24 lbs and had lost all 24 in the first week. I bought a size Medium and it fits perfectly. It does work to help shrink your belly, but I had problems with it folding over and scrunching up in the middle. It does not wear well under clothes as you can see where the band over laps and velcros. I only wore it a few hours a day and was back into my prepregnancy pants 2 weeks after delivery, faster than with my other pregnancies.

Pretty Good
Well, I ordered this at the very end of my pregnancy, and my son came 10 days early, so I didn't get it until a few days after he was born. Still, I wore it home from the hospital, and it made me feel a little more normal. It gives you that "held in" feeling. But, it 1) is a little difficult to put on because of the huge swath of velcro, and 2) I felt sort of "barrel-like" because it is so stiff and large. I am now using a slide-on cincher with boning in it, because it is slimmer and doesn't show under clothes. I just feel like the construction of this garment made me not wear it as much.

Not a quality product
I really researched the belly band product before buying this one. I bought two sizes of the bandit before having my first baby in order to have the proper size. I found that with both belly bandits, the material bunched, pinched and lost its shape. At this point it becomes useless as a belly band because instead of it being smooth and firm its bunched and wobbly. I am a fit and tall woman and the band creased two days into wearing it and never regained its shape, even with washing and an attempt to reshape.
The idea of the band is good for the post pregnancy time when your belly and its contents are jiggling around and somewhat painful however, this is not a great product. The marketing is smart but the product is cheap and not meant to last the 6 weeks it suggests.

Also, this product is VERY visible under clothes. Everyone who came over to see the baby asked me what I was wearing under my loose shirt. The sound of the velcro crunching when I sat did not help matters either.

I would try another product next time.
