Product Description

In Drunk with Wonder, Steve Ryals suggests that we are the heroes we've been waiting for, and that each one of us contains an infinitely precious spark of the divine. Those new to philosophical inquiry or just beginning a spiritual practice will find Ryals' lively and engaging dialogue to be thoroughly engrossing. Cosmology, the nature of reality and many other often-challenging subjects are introduced in an easy-to-follow format. Using spirited dialogue, Ryals gently guides the reader to perennial wisdom echoed in the great traditions of Shamanism, Eastern and Western thought, and contemporary science. Seasoned spiritual practitioners and philosophical seekers alike will glean a new, perhaps liberating perspective.

It's Time We Got Drunk!5

The cover of this book caught my eye. The wide open arms of acceptance of a being embracing the Universe. What could be more enveloping than that? And that is what this book is all about... embracing our Divinity, awakening to the fact that we are all Gods, & letting go of our limiting beliefs.
The author eloquently shares with us his own journey into that mysterious realm of new thought, via his conversations with his Higher Self. Somewhat like Neal Donald Walsch in `Conversations with God', however encompassing a new arena of thoughtful questions and answers of increasing depth and meanings.
The book encourages us that `stepping out of your comfort zone is the only way to grow.' As a Life Coach this is the heralding cry to mankind, & one that we would all do well to practice. Explaining that the Universe is holographic in that every one of us is the essence of the whole, we begin to see the intricate patterns of our existence. I loved Ryals words, `Rather than being a punishment, each incarnation is like another ride on the roller coaster of life.' Gone are the dogmas, the fears, the limiting of Self, when we can see the `big picture' of this roller coaster ride.
Steve Ryals writes of making manifest our realities, and directly affecting our world via collective consciousness. In reading these things, I grew increasing aware of the power we are privy to, if only we would use it.
'There are no mistakes! You are not a mistake, and your life is not a punishment!'
Just reading that line makes me want to go out & do something celebratory.
Mr. Ryals exhorts us to claim the empowering knowledge that we are the authors of our lives. We bring to ourselves our `stories' & experiences. The choice is ours in how we choose to live our lives, be it in fear, hate, love, compassion. One wonders why we would choose less than the best.
Steve Ryals is also a talented poet & the book is laced with several of his excellent works. I particularly liked, `Sidelines' & `Grace'. I'm sure there is a book of spiritual poetry in this man.
The book addresses & teaches ways to connect with your subconscious through breathing techniques as well as visualization. A very good meditation primer..
It also goes into the acceptance of one's shadow-side, embracing the `whole' of who we are.

Remember, it's all God, all the time'. What a grand theme for life.

Awakening the God Within5
What a great introduction to a personal spiritual quest! This is a great opportunity to explore your inner self through author Steve Ryals' page-turning dialogue. The idea that divinity can be found within my every experience really rang true for me. Make sure to read Ryals' poetry that's sprinkled throughout the book. It's juicy!

Drunk With Wonder5
I met Steve Ryals at a conference this summer and read his book in two days. It is a fascinating book, easy to read and hard to put down. I found that it resonated at a very deep level and that I was processing things that I had no idea were buried deep within me. If you are interested in being a better you, if you have questions, if you have unresolved issues and in short, if you are a work in progress [a human being] you will benefit from reading this book. I recommend it to anyone who has ever asked "Is this all there is?" This is a book you can add to your list of good things to do for yourself and become "Drunk with Wonder!"
