The lens adaptor threads on very easily and I've not seen any loss in color or light from using this filter.

I only problem with a lens filter is that the lens cap does not stay on as securely. The lens cap does fit over the filter, but it doesnt stay put.

I bought this camera for my wife for Christmas 06. She had a small Canon point and shoot that has been great. She wanted something that had more zoom and other features so she could take her photography to another level.

This is a great camera! The controls are well placed and easy to use. It has tons of pre-sets for various settings etc. The pictures are very sharp.

The only thing that my wife was not sure about at first is the cameras size. She so loved the way the camera works and the pictures it produces that she is willing to live with it's size.

I think this camera is going to be a classic - gives SLRs a run for the money.
