Saved by SERBIANS ...5
Bear in mind that airmen were saved by Serbians , not "Yugoslavs". Term "Yugoslavs" mean all: Serbs , Croats ,Slovenians , Muslims , Albanians...but only Serbs risked their lives to save pilots .The others , like Croats and Muslims were on German side , actually killed or captured American pilots ...Half century later , American pilots bombed Serbs to protect "friends from W.W.II"- Croats and Muslims...

A history lesson5
This book was a great history lisson for me and a comentary how the distructive the LEFT was during WW2. This important lesson also applies today.

On to Iraq5
I have just passed the book, The Forgotten 500, on to my son in Iraq. What a terrific read and one I know that he and his fellow soldiers will enjoy. I cried, laughed and got very angery as I read this book. Those Airmen and the civilians who helped them return to their homes should never be forgotten. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in WWII history.
