Product Description

The future of America is threatened by adults stuck in their "terrible twos."

Our nation's Founders knew that the nature of a society is determined by the character of the individuals in it. Yet how can we govern our nation wisely when too many Americans can't even govern themselves?

When parents fails to instill concepts like self-discipline and self-control early on, their kids grow into adults ruled by such toddler traits as magical thinking, unchecked emotion and an inability to deny themselves anything -- the very hallmarks of liberalism.

The secret to turning tiny tyrants into good citizens? Helping kids overcome their "inner liberal." As Born Liberal, Raised Right shows, our nation's future depends on it.

Review
"This important book provides the foundation for understanding the cause of our country's problems, including the financial crisis of 2008." --Alaska State Senator Joseph Orsini, Ph.D.

Review
"Reb Bradley brilliantly takes us out of what C.S. Lewis called our slavery to the immediate past and gives the whole nation the long-term strategy of victory of good over evil, free enterprise over socialism, and all the other urgent battles we face. Whoever trains the children of the coming generation, controls the future. If we are ready to listen, Born Liberal, Raised Right can be our blueprint to save our nation's future."

From the Publisher
America has a problem...too many parents are raising liberal kids!

With millions of adults in today's America behaving with the emotional maturity of out-of-control two-year-olds, it's no wonder the greatest nation on earth is descending into chaos.

But as noted author Reb Bradley shows, it is the virtues of self-discipline and self-control -- precisely the qualities modern parents feel are too old-fashioned and "inhibiting" to pass on to their children -- that make self-governance even possible. After all, if we cannot control ourselves, how can we govern the nation thoughtfully and wisely?

And while these keystones to maturity must be taught, how can they be when so many American parents today are immature themselves?

Inside Born Liberal, Raised Right you'll discover...

  • Why the behavioral characteristics that exemplify liberalism are the "default position" in young children.
  • Why giving children an exalted view of their own importance sets them -- and our nation -- up for a fall.
  • How the twin concepts of self-control and self-discipline can be taught firmly but lovingly to kids of all ages.

Undisciplined, self-worshiping kids grow into liberals driven by the same narcissistic, overemotional "I-want-it-now" worldview they had as toddlers, with the results we see today. As Born Liberal, Raised Right proves, these are just the kinds of delusions that our nation can no longer afford to indulge. Review

A Timely, Succinct Lesson for All5
Reb Bradley's new book, Born Liberal, Raised Right is a lesson that can be taken to heart by, not only parents, but everyone. Yes, it focuses on parenting CITIZENS, and creating upright productive, compassionate members of society. But personally, I think we all could learn something from this book. Mr. Bradley talks about such varying topics as victim mentality, socialism, illegal immigration and the one thing they all share: lack of accountability. Mr. Bradley understands that as parents, and as a society, we naturally want to "fix things" and "help the weak"; however, he stresses that we cannot do it at the expense of the very things we love - our children, families, and country. He gives concrete lessons regarding parenting our children firmly, but with love and helping mold them into what we all want - nay, NEED - in our country: moral, accountable, responsible citizens who will carry this great nation and its future generations into many more centuries beyond this one!

A Book to Change the Moral Course of America5
Are you tired of hearing of all the crime on our streets lately? Does it make you weary to watch the news or read it online? Are you concerned about the direction America is headed but not quite sure how it got so bad in the first place?

If you answered, yes, to any or all of these questions, then "Born Liberal, Raised Right" should be the next book you purchase.

In this engaging and informative book, author Reb Bradley discusses how the future of America is threatened by adults "stuck in their 'terrible twos'". Based upon Bradley's personal experience as a pastor and counselor, in addition to a wealth of research, the author provides a sound argument that America's moral decline is the result of overindulgent parents not providing their children with the self-control they need to become successful members of society. Bradley contends that parents who overindulge their children, fix all their problems, and refuse to allow their children to experience the consequences of their actions, foster young people who become adults who feel entitled to have everything they want and cannot accept life's disappointments.

The author states that we are born with certain tendancies: a desire for self-gratification, lack of self-control, and subordination to our emotions. And it is these traits that parents must consistently help their children rein in if they are ever going to escape feelings of entitlement and the desire to always play the victim and avoid blame. Bradley also goes on to state that "magical thinking", unchecked emotion, and an inability to deny yourself anything are traits that are "the very hallmark of liberalism". Misplaced liberal compassion creates problems in America; it doesn't fix them.

Well thought out, easy to read, and captivating, Bradley has penned an excellent book that could make a difference in the future of America. Liberals will probably hate it and conservatives will tout his wisdom, but in the end Bradley is truly believeable as a man who wants to preserve the American family and inspire parents to bring up inspriring and motivational leaders who will move the country to new heights of moral greatness.

A MUST read5
Reb Bradley's new book, Born Liberal, Raised Right is a must read for anyone who loves America, is confused by the sharp left turn we just took into socialism, and wants to understand why. Where once we spoke of government "aid" programs, we now speak of "entitlement" programs. Suddenly, it isn't just an act of compassion to help the poor, the sick, and the elderly. It is a right they are entitled to receive.

Reading Born Liberal, Raised Right brings into clarity the irony of the liberal agenda. The old concept of rights was designed to limit state power and to define areas free from government interference. But the new concept of rights espoused by Obama and his liberal administration expands state power. It asks government to regulate all sorts of areas that were once private.

And the result? A larger and larger portion of our lives is vulnerable to government control. The entitlement mentality is threatening the fundamental freedoms that were once the whole point of human rights.

Thank you Reb, for a wonderfully written book.
