Great but it runs a half size too big. . .
These are pretty nice boots. Casual enough to wear with jeans, dressy enough to wear with slacks. Sturdy enough for long walks with nice ankle support. Durable enough to keep your feet warm and dry while withstanding rain and snow. Like any pair of boots, you have to wear them for a while to break them in. My only complaint is they run a half size too large. I ordered a 9 1/2 and when I took the boots out of the box, I was kind of surprised at how big they looked. When I tried them on, I had at least a 1/2 inch of space from my big toe to the end of the toe box. Clearly these were a size 10. I still wore them anyway with two pairs of socks. Once I wore them out, I purchased another pair, this time a size 9. The size 9 fits me perfectly. My suggestion is to buy these a half size smaller that what you normally wear to get the best fit. Outside of that, a great shoe for a great price.

Strong and sturdy
My husband works on an airfield. All the walking and pulling fuel hoses destroyes his shoes. These boots lasted longer than any other pair we've bought. Reasonably priced, we can actually afford to replace them after he completly destroys them. :) He did complain a little about breaking them in but after a short time he said they were very comfy.

Achilles could have used a pair
Minus a star because, yes, this is a 1/2 size larger than advertised. Otherwise a great shoe for a great value. The heel as well as the toe is steel, thus the review title. I had not problems breaking them in because, again, they were a half size too big, but they are comfortable enough inside that I can wear them with short socks. Good buy, shipped very quickly as well.
