Customer Reviews

Proficient Practice Prepares for Perfect Paddling5
Clear instructions and practice exercises promote useful muscle memories for specific strokes and stoke combinations. Includes clear step by step exercises to do while in the boat for learning to roll, which I use for practice and as warm-ups for both muscles and mind. Sometimes the small tips are most useful and this book has many of them; refining your grip or where to look during maneuvers for stability are among the tips that help fine tune your paddle technique. Paddle strokes move the boat, better strokes move the boat better. A very good book on an essential skill.
