Good Shoe3
These shoes seemed to be good shoes. Just a advertised by seller. I felt they did run slightly small (maybe order 1/2 size larger). They were too snug on my ankles to tuck jeans into...but they fit under pants perfectly. As for being waterproof/snowproof....the leather probably is, but there is an area on the side where water could leak in.

Skinny ankles rejoice!5
There are plenty of reviews out there on this boot, I just browsed through Zappos and there are over 50 to read! My review is all about my skinny ankles and how this boot feels like a second skin to me. I love them! I own the brown ones and wear them all the time with rolled up skinny jeans, super cute! Be prepared to invest in some long socks, as they will chafe without them. My calves are rather small as well, so the elastic closure at the back ensures that they don't do that annoying gappy thing. Most boots rub the back of my calf but these literally feel like they were made for me. I'm an 8 and that's exactly what I ordered, very true to size. I slipped some comfy little insoles in there with room to spare for heavier socks. The thick, greased leather holds up well in wintery conditions, and they work just as well under slacks and jeans as they do with knee socks and a skirt. I'm considering adding the Stockholm to my boot collection but they don't look as snug. The velcro is a little funky, but it seems to work well for me. I notice that after a year's wear, the fabric lining is starting to pull a bit towards the velcro, which is this boot's only flaw in my opinion. The sole is not aggressive, so it really does feel like a moccasin, like they're moving with you, not against you.

great all-weather boot4
I love this boot. I only gave it 4 stars because (1) getting it on and off is slightly difficult, and (2) the placement of the velcro isn't great, so the overflap doesn't lay neatly over the entire velcro patch when a leg is in the boot.

But once it's on, it's wonderful! I find it very comfortable. It isn't too warm in spring or fall weather, yet it's warm enough for snow. Right now it's 25 (F) outside and our surfaces are covered in ice, but I can walk anywhere easily and my feet don't feel the cold at all. I'm ordering a second pair now, so when my first wear out, I'll have another pair ready to go!

I wear 6.5 in most shoes, but I read somewhere that these run tight so I bought size 7 and they fit just right.
