A good buy
Overall I love the watch box. The wood reminds me of the old days. It has a very rich look. I was disappointed about the lock. It only locks the top portion of the box and not the bottom portion. I thought that was odd. I hope in the near future they correct that error because what is the purpose of a lock if you can't lock it in its entirety.

Awsome Box
Well, my father is a watch fanatic. He has more watches than he knows what to do with, I think. So he has two watch boxes of a similar nature in which he keeps the other 30 some-odd watches that he can't wear (I mean, his arm is only so big). Anyway, I am starting my collection now, and needed a place to store my 5 or so watches, and figuring on expanding my collection by leaps and bounds, I thought I'd plan for the future and buy a big box. This thing is amazing. The color is stunning. The worksmanship is stellar. The interior cloth is soft as soft can be, and also a very "manly" color. The pillows are also soft, but when you pick them up they seem heavy, in an odd sort of way, which makes me think they are quality made. The pockets are plenty big for "man sized" watches, unless of course you're collecting 50 Cent's cast-off's. Now for the only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5: I wish I had bought one with a glass top so as to display my watches and to show them off. But I thought of another reason to purchase the glass top--watches like Citizen's Eco Drive are solar powered and if you have those, they would stay charged with a glass top, whereas now I have to take my solar powered watches out in order to charge them once or twice a month. Anyway, great box, awsome buy for the money. The glass top thing is a personal preference and not at all a fault to the maker.
