An apt image for spring, the Nao April Showers figurine depicts a young girl preparing for a stroll in the rain. Handmade from fine porcelain, the piece is an excellent example of the craftsmanship of Spain's famous Lladro studios. Its coloration, which is painted by hand, is subtle and sure, while its details are impressive--down to the wicker weave on the hat crown. The old-fashioned parasol complements the girl's pinafore, petticoats, and slippers. Quiet and sweet, the figurine looks lovely alone or in combination with other collectibles.
