Over and Over Again.....
This was great! It's a comedy, while calling attention to the prides and prejudices of the 60's, some of which are still out there today.

The Original Hairspray Film & Musical ARE AWESOME...This Album is alright...good for listen
I Still enjoy watching the Original Hairspray (W/ricky Lake & DIVINE) * The Broadway Musical was PERFECTION...I enjoy the Album endlessly....BUT the film was a bit mellow down...the whole point of the story is THE GIRL...she has hormones raising, her hair and dreams are bursting out...and the original is campy....But the new version was done for the masses and for the younger and the folks that can't handle teens talking about sex & dreams, and I wont get into John Travolta ruining the character by tryign to make it "real" HELLO! its meant for campiness....that's the whole point of it.....I RECOMMEND YOU TO CHECK THE ORIGINAL FILM and broadway musical soundtrack**** You won't regret it~~~
