Average customer review:Product Description
25th Anniversary 12â Figures Series 02: Torpedo is extensively articulated. Presented completely in black wetsuit, Torpedo is equipped with a full array of scuba gear including diving mask, respirator & pack and flippers, and is armed with a diving knife & sheath, machinegun and a harpoon gun. Lt. Torpedoâs scuba capabilities are reinforced by Torpedoâs mastery of three martial arts and his unnerving prowess with the butterfly knife. Torpedo is cited as being a consummate professional, hindered only by a personality approximate to that of a cold fish.

Horrible!
Oh gosh, GI Joe used to mean quality figures, and this is painful to see. This 12 inch figure is similar to one recently put out about two years ago, and that was also limited quality but acceptable for box bashers like me who are going to re-make the figure to be adult-level accurate anyway. But this is a new low. The wet suit hood is molded onto the head sculpt with barely any delineation and the black wetsuit color is slopped onto the edges of the figure's face. The face is from a stunningly poor quality mold that even seems to be of a different scale than the rest of the figure. The face is truly odd looking, like a cheap 1920's toy. The previous version had a real rubber hood, and a good head sculpt. This one looks like some toy made from pieces of other toys. Adults will be disappointed to give this to their kids, and if you are a "Big kid/Adult," like me who enjoys re-working 1/6 scale figures, there is nothing salvageable here. A great shame it has the GI Joe name on it.
It is particularly disingenuous that this poor version is made to appear like the earlier, better version, and the buyer cannot tell the degradation in quality from the photos.
