Product Description

Joyce Chen opened her first restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1958. She found that the selection and quality of Chinese cookware in America didn't live up to her high standards… so she developed her own. Today, Joyce Chen Products sources from all over the Pacific Rim to bring the best of Asia to you. This Burnished Bamboo Chopstick Set comes with 2 pairs of 9" Burnished Bamboo Chopsticks with matching holders. Bamboo is a grass, not wood, and an abundant renewable resource, so each time you use a bamboo kitchen tool, you may save the life of a tree.

Oh-So-Delicate!5
Great chopsticks and nice presentation, too. These are my "first" real chopsticks, and it took a little time to get used to them. (I had been using the restaurant chopsticks that are thicker and easier to use, somewhat like fat pencils are for first-graders) It took me a little longer to eat my meal, but that made it more enjoyable. They are lovely!

Don't buy them for the holder4
Great as chopsticks, but I immediately threw-away the bamboo holders. The coloring did not match, and they looked super-cheap.

These are good bamboo chopsticks. One of them was warped though. They're very light. I think I might have preferred something with a little more 'grab'; these are laquered or something and have narrow tips, though that is sometimes useful in itself. I'm happy with them though.
