Very happy with this skin
* It's very pretty. I have the black skin, and the kindle is now a very striking piece. I think all colors will have the same result.
* It's a perfectly snug fit. It could hardly fit better. Everything is still exposed that should be. Just a quibble, you have to get your fingernail in just a bit to flip the power and cell switches.
* It quiets the page navigation presses.
* It softens the corners of the product.
* It adds a bit of weight to the unit. The skin is about 1/3 of the weight of the kindle, so you'll feel it when you lay back and hold the kindle up. But after taking the skin back off again, I realized the kindle wasn't ultra-light to begin with. Shouldn't dissuade you from purchasing.
* You'll probably want to cut off the nibs on the back and remove the stand if you still want to carry it in the original case (to protect the screen).
* To reiterate, there's no screen protection included here (at least in the package I received). But I hate screen protectors in general. The gel skin should save the screen in a fall. Just you'll want a case of some kind if you keep the kindle in a bag.

Nice case
I've been anxiously waiting for a case for my Kindle ever since I purchased it. This is a nice silicone case that fits the Kindle perfectly. It has a nice feel to it when you are gripping the Kindle. I especially like the kickstand, as I can now easily read my Kindle hands-free. I've even found that I can use this case in conjunction with the original case for the Kindle. The silicone makes it so that the Kindle doesn't slide out of the original case, and I can then easily attach my booklight to the original case. (Note: I just wrap the band from the original case around the bottom right corner of the Kindle.)

Great Protection for the Kindle.
The Silicone case feels great to the touch, looks slick and is exceptionally well fitted. Having bought this to augment the protection offered by the basic amazon cover, I am very satisfied, but needed to make a few modifications to the product. Specificaly, there are four little feet on the back of the cover along with the wireless stand, all of which I needed to trim off to use with the cover. However, once this was done, the cover meets all of the requirement for fit, sturdiness, and look.
