Customer Reviews
Not the same image as the picture AND no labels for the buttons?
The back image isn't the same as pictured, though that is small thing in my mind. The skin I received has a whole, perfectly round "planet" on the back and there is much less detail in the foreground. It is also more "aqua" and less "blue" than I had hoped.
My real complaint is that the buttons are not labeled. Seems to me that if they can make the graphics, they can certainly add a little lettering to the decals for the buttons. As this is my third Kindle, I know which button is which but had this been my first, I would have had to resort to labeling them myself with a "Sharpie" or leaving them off entirely.
I bought a skin for my Kindle2 from that "other" manufacturer and it fit better around the top of the screen. It is possible that, due to the size of this device, it stretches more. The Kindle2 is much smaller than the KindleDX.
If not for the labeling issue, I would have given it 5 stars. I really like the addition of a skin. With heavy use, it is possible to wear the buttons smooth - especially the "Next Page" button. I speak from experience as I did this with my first Kindle. A skin prevents this and still allows it to fit in any cover.
It looks good, too!
