Almost perfect4
The Tuff-Luv Kindle DX cover is attractive, well-conceived, pretty well-constructed, and extremely useful. The outside looks and feels good. The kickstand on the back has turned out to be a lot more useful than I thought. There is excellent access to all the controls and inputs. After having looked at every cover, I chose this product, and I'm pleased that I did. Still there is room for improvement.

+Most notably, the fabric on the opposite side of the flap is hard and a bit course. This fabric falls upon the screen of the Kindle when closed. I do not think for one second that the fabric can scratch the screen or damage the unit in any way. However, when you open the case and lay the lap behind the device, your fingers naturally grasp the course fabric on the back side. The effect (or feel) is that of holding on to a legal pad with cardboard backing. That's not a great tactile experience when reading. Instead the manufacturer should have chosen something soft or silky. Or, better yet, continued the leather on to the other side. That way you'd have the feel of holding a wonderful leather-bound book while reading.

+Next, though the front flap is nicely secured by the magnetic clasp, there is still a looseness that causes the top cover to shift around a lot. Instead, the clasp should hold the top cover more securely to keep everything firmly in place.

+Finally, the Tuff-Luv emblem itself. It appears on the front cover and looks just like a functioning button. Except it doesn't do anything. The emblem is poorly designed from a branding standpoint and a little confusing so far as its purpose or utility. It's also pretty hard and could scratch a tabletop or a laptop that it came into contact with. There are so many better options, including a simple stamped imprint, that I hope the manufacturer will consider a change, if for aesthetics only if nothing else.

Not so great2
I purchased this cover solely based on the fact that it can double as a stand. However, I have found it not very useful for that purpose. In its 'standing' configuration, it takes up a lot of real-estate on your table (think isosceles triangle). The 'kick stand' has a tendency to spring flat to it's closed position.

Because I generally read while I'm eating, I position the kindle on my left side. However, using this stand/cover I have to reach across the screen with my left hand to access the page buttons. I've found that propping up the reader in landscape mode - with the buttons along the bottom - is the most optimal position. However, in this case the stand feature of the cover is practically useless.

Because of the non-symmetrical 'cutouts' for the screen and buttons, the main window is warped so that it does not present a very clean appearance. The left border bulges outward, and the thin right strip is skewed at an angle.

The outer cover is a very soft 'pleather' which can easily be scratched or torn. The case does protect the Kindle somewhat, which is the only reason why I gave it two stars. However, as a stand it falls considerably short of expectations.

Does not match Kindle quality1
I decided to buy this Kindle case hoping it would look as nice as shown in the stock pictures. However the real product failed to match the build quality of my Kindle DX.

As another reviewer pointed out -- because of the non-symmetrical 'cutouts', the window is warped after you insert the DX. This seems to be either a design issue or poor quality control. To see the effect, please refer to the customer images I uploaded. I wish I had seen one before buying it from UK.
