Customer Reviews
Probably A Scam
I thought these pads were worth a try, and I used them for several nights. The pad was stained the next morning, but I realized soon that I could pour clear water on the pad and get the same effect. I've done further research and found that most "experts" (whoever they are) say the product is just a simple chemical reaction to your foot sweating under the non-breathable pad. My advice is to at least do your own, outside research before buying. I got no benefit from Kinoki.
This Product is a Total SCAM!!!!
In April of 2008 20/20 investigated Kinoki foot pads and found it to be a lie. There is a class action law suit brought against the company for false advertising. The product claims to detoxify your body to the extent where you can see the toxins on the white pad. If you were to pour water on the pad it would also turn black. In other words it's a scam and if you are stupid enough to buy this product, then you have my complete pity.
Physically Impossible
It is not possible for these pads to work as advertised. The kidneys and liver are the only organs that can possibly filter toxins, not the skin. Read this article to find out why: www.devicewatch.org/reports/sapsheet.shtml
As with any inert snakeoil, there will be a positive placebo effect for a small number of susceptible users. But before you spend your hard earned money, please be aware there is no scientific evidence for the efficacy of foot pads, no MD's endorse them, and the FDA has issued a warning against them.
