Not up to standard
I bought this set because I had owned a set of 3 COPCO mixing bowls for at least 15 years. One has cracked and chipped, probably from being dropped so many times. This new set, however, is just not as good quality as my previous set. It almost seems flimsy compared to what I had. While it is certainly adequate for what its used for, I was very disappointed. Had I seen it in a store, I would not have bought it. Having the lids is nice and the rubber on the bottom to prevent slippage (similar to what I had before) is a great feature.

Super useful bowls
I love these bowls. I have two sets of my own and a set I bought for my sister. You can use them to make fruit salad and then if there are leftovers, just put the clear see-through lid on. Since you can see what's inside, you don't forget to go back and eat the food.

The largest bowl is also great for rising bread dough. No muss or waste with plastic wrap or cheesecloth, just snap on the lid.

The only thing to be careful about is the non-skid bottom ring can come loose in the dishwasher, so you might want to remove them or make sure they are on securely before you put them in.

A bakers must-have
I just love these bowls!! I have owned a set for 11 years (very durable), and just bought a new set because I accidently melted the largest bowl. They are fabulous because they are LIGHT and have a GRIP LIP. Your thumbs can be goop free! For anyone who loves to cook but find glass or ceramic mixing bowls too heavy and slippery, these bowls are for you. They are not as polished looking, but so PRACTICAL. The lids come in handy for various recipes and there are 1 cup measuring marks on the inside of the bowls for easy flour measuring. They don't stain from food coloring. They are dishwasher friendly and clean up in a snap! Thank goodness I found them again! :o)
