Leifheit does not disappoint
Strainer is made of stainless steel, with well designed rim and comfortable handle. The mesh is fine, and works very well when straining broth and other things with small particles suspended in the liquid. I like the quality and the materials. The only thing that makes me rate it four-star rather than five is the fact that it has been made in China. All the older Leifheit products that I own, were made in Germany.

I guess I was just not cut out to live in a global economy...

Great Product
This is exactly what it says in its description. It is actually better in that when you put this in your hand you can feel the quality in its strength and weight. It is substantial and I can tell it will last many, many years because it is well constructed of quality material.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD FINE MESH STRAINER
I purchased this for my mother, she is very happy with it. It does have a very good fine mesh. My only question, is how comfortable is the handle, which wouldn't be a very big deal if you are only holding for a minute or so. I personally found the design of the handle, not to be ergonomically comfortable. It does have a brushed chrome look.
