Wasabi means 'Harmony and Tranquility'. This is the feelilng you'll experience while using the incredibly sharp Wasabi knives. The Wasabi line features traditional Japanese blade styling. The single bevel design allows an incredible sharp edge that's easy to maintain. The hollow-ground back creates an air pocket between the blade and the food being cut. The result is less sticking to the blade and less friction damage to the food.

A very sharp Knife
This is a great little knife. It if very sharp from the factory and has kept its edge nicely. The handle has a ridge that runs the length. This makes it a little more comfortable than a completely cylindrical handle. This is my girlfriend's favorite knife. She reaches for it when doing small chopping jobs like herbs and onions. It is very maneuverable and has a good heft for a small knife. The blade is thick and makes such a small knife deceivingly useful. I am a bigger guy and I usually use a 6" knife, but I find myself reaching for this knife more often.
A disadvantage to it being so think a blade is that it cannot double as a paring knife. More delicate cuts, like thinly slicing tomatoes, are difficult because the thick blade pushes the tomato slices out.
Overall, this is a very fine knife for the price. Ergonomics on the handle are hit or miss. I like the handle and so does my girlfriend but a few people have said it didn't fit right in their hand. I would say those are the minority of people who have used this knife. If you like to choke up on your knives this may be less comfortable on this knife than others as the round, blunt ending where the shaft meets the handle is not easily pinched when gripped in this way.
Nice little knife
This is a great little knife. It is super sharp. Great for cutting veggies and fruit. Pretty good with sof t items as well. You really do need a larger knife for meat. The 8 1/2" Deba is perfect for that. This knife has alot of utility and would be great for any kitchen.
one of the best knives we have
...and cheap too. Handy size for all sorts of veggie jobs, very very sharp. Attractive. These could use nicer handles, but at the price they're a great deal.
