Nice looking, but ...
Nice looking, but thick--the wood base is 1 1/4 inch from front to back and this makes for a heavy item. If you are going to hang this on a cupboard door and load it up with some knives, expect some stress on your hinges. It arrived in pieces--whatever kind of epoxy was used to fasten the metal faceplate to the base did not take. Since I am too busy to package it up and drive to the post office and send it back at my own expense, I guess I will spend some more money and try to find an epoxy that will hold. I would definitely not recommend this to a friend.

Knife Rack
This item is excellent. It is very heavy and does its job beautiful. Nice product.
