Utilizing an adjustable knob that changes the distance between its rollers, the pasta roller attachment rolls dough into sheets of desired thickness for homemade egg noodles, ravioli, lasagna, and other types of pasta. The sheets of pasta may then be cut using either the fettuccini or linguini / spaghetti cutter attachment to create various widths of pasta.

If you have a passion for perfectly prepared pasta, try making your own delectable lasagna noodles, fettuccine, or linguine fini with this pasta roller set that fits all KitchenAid stand mixers. The three attachments include a pasta roller, a fettuccine cutter, and a linguine fini cutter. Just prepare pasta dough and form it into small rectangles which are then fed into one of the attachments. Out come uniform lasagna noodles, fettuccine, linguine, or angel hair pasta. The pasta can be enjoyed fresh or frozen or dried for later. Great Product!
After reading the reviews about cleaning this product, I am pleasantly surprised! My daughter and I mixed up a recipe of the basic dough in the handbook, and it came out great! Very easy to use, and no problem cleaning. I think it depends on the consistency of the dough as to whether or not dough gets stuck. Definatly a great product, there's nothing better than fresh pasta!

pasta perfection
For many years I relied on my tried and true hand-crank pasta machine. Didn't need any new-fangled gadgets. Well, I listened to a friend rave about the KitchenAid attachment, noticed the dust on my hand-crank machine, and decided to give it a try. Armed with my never-fail Marcella Hazan pasta recipe I made a lot of fettucine in a very short time. I especially appreciated the fact that you have two hands to work the dough with, since you don't have to crank. A real winner.

Pasta Roller
Used the KitchenAid pasta roller for a new mixer I bought and loved it.
I also bought the pasta maker that grinds meat as well, i found that the roller set works much better. The rollers don't heat up as the extruder does, and the extruder seems to make the mixer motor hot.
