Can crusher is cool!!4
I bought the can crusher for my boyfriend who goes through a lot of cans. :) He mounted it on the wall right above the recycle bin and it works great! We put the cans in, crush them and they're in the bin, no mess no fuss. The only issue is that when they fall toeards the crushing part or you just toss the can in, you have to make sure that it falls the right way to properly crush it. If it falls incorrectly you have to stick your hand in the sticky mess to adjust the can. Also, I haven't yet figured out how I'm gonna clean it. Other wise, I think it was a great gift and he has a lot of fun crushing the cans and thank goodness he is picking up after himself too!

"Okay" Can crusher3
I just recieved my crusher in the mail. I put it together and was quite excited to use it. I installed it on a bare stud (no drywall) in the basement and was dissappointed to realize that the hopper relies on the support of a wall behind it and does not fasten to the crusher correctly if simply screwed to a stud. The hopper is still functional though. Also, I expected to pull down on the lever to crush cans but the crusher actually operates when you push the handle up. It's not really a problem. It just feels wierd. The only REAL problem with the crusher that I have found so far is that the slot that the crushed can drops through is too large and about 50% of the time, the can crushes a small amount and then slips through the slot diagonally. Bottom line: the thing works.....kinda. If I had it to do over, I probably would have purchased a different crusher.

Fast, efficient, high value can crusher4
I researched metal and composite plastic can crushers and wanted something that was more efficient than stomping cans with my feet. The single can crushers that crush cans vertically are usually cheaper or higher quality, but I decided I wanted something with an auto-feed type shute. The Dial Industries M92 Can Ram aluminum can crusher satisfies all of my needs.

Pros:
- Fast, efficient, shute-fed operation
- Large lever arm makes for easy crushing
- Cans drop at the bottom into a bucket or bag of your choice
- Easy to mount and assemble
- Strong, solid feel
- Cans crush to a very small profile
- Will crush a 16oz can if done singularly

Cons:
- Crushing mechanism starts off crushing at an angle
- Can can pop up if there aren't enough cans in the shute

If the can crusher worked 100% of the time, I would give it 5 stars, but the speed you get from being able to crush multiple cans is worth the occasional missed can, making it faster than any single crusher out there.

Overall, it works better than I suspected and I'm satisfied with it for the $20 I spent.
