Great little machine; makes excellent crepes easily
This crepe maker works really well. I have had mine for a while, and it makes nice crepes every time. It is very easy - just mix the crepe batter, flip the crepe maker over and dip it into the matter (it comes with a round batter tray that is just right for dipping the machine into), and when the light goes on the crepe is done. The non-stick works pretty well, so the crepes peel off the heating surface easily when done (if the crepe isn't peeling off easily, it probably isn't done). Also, it really isn't heavy at all like the other reviewer says. A couple things worth noting. First, after you mix the crepe batter, the first few crepes usually don't come out well because the top of the batter is really airy from mixing so you don't get a smooth, even amount of batter on the crepe maker. Just plan on throwing the first few crepes out, and the rest will be great. Also, the crepes are fairly small, maybe 8 inches diameter, so if you want to fold them up and make blintzes out of them (which can be done, and are delicious), the blintzes will be pretty small.
