The flowers comes in a sealed foil for 2.5 years of shelf life. To enjoy a flowering tea, simply place one Flowering Tea in the glass teapot. Then bring water to a boil and pour over the tea pod. Watch the magic of the unfolding tea leaves as they unfurl into an exquisite flower. Allow to steep 2-3 minutes, or to the desired strength. After enjoying the first pot, the Flowering Tea may be re-steeped two more times.

Great Shower or Birthday gift
This is probably one of the nicest gift ideas I have come across in a long time. It is unique, right in line with the big tea craze today, and would probably NOT be one of those duplicate gifts that everyone, especially at showers, seems to get. Great buy.
