Customer Reviews
Must have recording!
This CD is a must have for anyone interested in William Schuman the man or his music. Jack Stamp's interpretation is "right on" and the quality of the ensemble is second to none! A special bonus is a 25 minute conversation between Schuman and Stamp made on a pocket tape recorder. Though the sound quality of the conversation could be better, it is a wonderful insight in to the American music scene in the 1950s and 60s. Worth the price just for the conversation!
