I got bit by the same bug as other reviewer-
I was very happy with this item-resolution looks good, simple to use, but after uploading all of my photos to a memory card, the same thing happened to me as to the other reviewer. Even though all of my images show in the photo thumbnails, the screenshow gets stuck on one picture 10 or 15 minutes into the slideshow and now it is stuck on one photo, even after repeated rebootings. I have emailed the company, but have not yet received a reply. Pretty picture is no good when the product doesn't perform well or, in my case, at all. Update: I did contact customer service and they promise to send me a shipping label to return the bad frame and then they will send me a "good" frame. I will continue to update this review.
UPDATE: I had to pay return shipping charges and it took 2 weeks to get a new frame. Upon receiving the new frame, I plugged in my SD card and the screenshow again would not work. I contacted 47 St Photo (which apparently is Opteka), and was informed that the reason the slideshow would not work was because you cannot have a picture greater than 1 MB in the slideshow or the show will not run. Frustrating info because I had waited 2 weeks for a new frame when apparently the first frame would have worked if I had reduced (I chose cropping) each picture to less than 1 MB. Bottom line-the fix did work, it is a pain to go into my 1000 pics and reduce the file size to less than 1 MG, but this frame's picture is far superior to any other I have seen. And believe me, I was so frustrated in this process I really wanted to find another frame. But I am glad I perservered and with a little time put into reducing my larger file pictures, the slideshow will be great. I would now give the frame 5 stars, but wish I had known the above earlier. It, of course, was no where in the manual.

TWO IMPORTANT GLITCHES YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
We gave this picture frame to my mother-in-law for christmas. It was beautiful, she could work it easily, and it would start the show upon startup by just pushing the start button (with an SD card in place). It also allows you to show the slides in order, which we really wanted, because we wanted her to see the pictures of her grandchildren in chronological order. HOWEVER, when we sent her a replacement SD card with new photos in January, the show just froze. Eventually, the frame stopped working at all. So we returned it and the company replaced it. The new frame had the SAME problem. The company had also told us to stay under 1G, but that was not the problem (since the photos totalled only 125 MEG, after shrinking). What I FINALLY figured out was this: First, you need to format your SD CARD using a FAT32 format (not just FAT, but FAT32). Then, you have to use numbers ONLY to label your photos. DO NOT USE ANY LETTERS. When you do this, everything works like a charm. You can definitely have pictures over 1 Megabyte (I have quite a few), so that is an erroneous comment made by one of the reviewers.

HANDSOME FRAME
This is an excellant digital picture frame with a very handsome look. I set it up on my desk at a work and used a 2GB SD card that I had to to export all my favorite pictures from my laptop. Once transferred to the SD card I slipped the SD card in the slot on the picture frame and the slidehow started. It is simply beautiful and the customize options are many . It is fantastic and everybody is wowed with the brillant color and hadnsome appearance. A definate winner. Love it Love it.
