Thank-you for your interest in my book, "Once Upon A Knee MF Spanking & Domestic Discipline Stories Volume One." Each story, included in this volume, was written with you, the reader, in mind. I've tried to create an escape, through my stories, for other spanking enthusiasts, who enjoy a little flight of fantasy to spice up their lives, once in awhile.
All of my stories are MF, (men spanking women), and most of them involve good old-fashioned OTK (over the knee) spanking action. Each story is unique and fun, with interesting story lines, as well as well written spanking scenes, which take you, the reader, on a journey into a place and time when men were men, and women allowed (and wanted) them to be!
I hope you enjoy reading my book! I totally enjoyed writing it, and continue to enjoy the challenge of writing in the spanking erotica genre.

WOW
I love this book! The short stories are very easy to read, steamy and entertaining. Good book to curl up with on a cold fall day--makes things "heat up" quickly!

Outstanding!
This book intrigued me so much that it led me to read all of this author's books. She has a knack of putting reality and human feelings into supremely erotic stories. I'm waiting for the next book.

could have been better
Firstly, I didn't realize that all the stories were written by the same author until about halfway through the book, when I noticed how similar the writing style was from story to story, as well as the characters having things in common (other than their desire to spank or be spanked). So, be aware that Ms. Faran isn't the editor of the book, but in fact the *author* of all 16 stories. You won't be getting a terribly diverse view of M/f DD.

That said, I enjoyed most of the storylines, but found the writing style a bit bothersome. For instance, when someone says "uh-huh", as in "yes", it is spelled "uhu" which tripped me up every time I read it. Also, when someone laughs, it isn't "Ha ha ha!", but "Ha! Ha! Ha!", which felt super-choppy and unrealistic. It may sound petty, but these and similar writing issues really did hamper my enjoyment of the collection.

As for the stories themselves, they are varied as to the settings, motivations, and intensity. There are several playful stories, several realistic (by which I mean they seem like a part of everyday life for the couple), a few very serious ones, and some non-consensual stories (in which the beleaguered man takes the frustrating woman in hand, by surprise). There were even a couple with supernatural influences, like ghosts and past lives, both of which I enjoyed a lot. The stories are light on the actual sex, with only one or two stand-out scenes I can remember; most are focused on the discipline, with maybe a mention of "then they made love". There are, however, elements of arousal in almost every story - descriptions of the man or woman, or both, being turned on at some point.

Summary: I enjoyed the variety in the stories and that most of the scenarios came from a stance of love between the characters, but I feel the writing needs improvement.
